The HBHA ofers a great education. The HBHA also teaches how things are usful in life. The HBHA is also has a great jewish curiculum. I think the school is named after mr. Hyman Brand because he founded the school and was a respected man and the HBHA should also be respected.

Hyman Brand was born in 1891 in a town called Galicia, which is now in Poland. Mr. Brand later sailed to America in 1909 when he was 17. There he earned enough money to send the rest of his family over. Then he moved to Kansas City. I think the school is named after him because he was a good man. He also believed in a good Jewish education for Jewish children. Hyman Brand also served as the first president of the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy. I think Hyman Brand succeed in getting the "crown of a good name" because he believed that Jews should have a good Jewish education. He also earned enough money to send his entire family over to America. That shows he is a hard worker. As you can see, Hyman Brand was a good choice to name our school after.
Hyman Brand did not want the scool to be named after him, he was hard working, he cared alot about the community, he was a european immagrane, he gave tzadaka anounamously. THe school was named after him because he was a great man. He earned his way up to his position. He was verry nice. He had a crown of a good name by being nice. He was a giver not a taker. Hyman Brand is the founder of Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, but when he founded the school he didn’t want it to be named after him but after he passed away they decided to name the school after him any way.
I think the school was named after him because he was the man that started it all. Also he opened I think the first Jewish Hebrew day school in kc. Also many people say he was a great guy not jus because he founded our school but he was kind also.
Yes I think Mr. brand succeeded in getting the “crown of a good name” because he did what a good Jew does. He helped young Jews learn more about there religion and to study it.
I think our school should be named after Hyman Brand because he had a vision for a wonderful Jewish school. I think he got a crown of good name because he made a great school to be in. He helped people by letting them have a good education.
Mr. Brand deserved this school to be named by him because he founded it. He is also a good man beucase he put a lot of time into making a good Jewish school for children. He has given several people in this world a good Jewish education.
