Homework #1
This is a test for class, but it will count as a grade (an easy A). What is your favorite place in the entire world and why? This should be at least three sentences long.
well i have many favorites but i will only tell you one of them. The one that I am going to tell you is Israel. This country is my favorite place because it has the new and the old Jerusalem and because it is a beautiful place to visit, live or just love. I have been there many times and have to admit that it might even be better then the U.S.A. and that is aying a lot bieng that most peopla love where they were born more tha anywhere else. But nay why another reason that I love Irael is that it has a street called Ben Yehuda Street and there are many reasons why that helps make Israle my favorite place. On of thoses reasons are that on Shabbat it is SOOOO sushed ans soooo cool because everyone wants to get the best food for SHabbat and if they don't come fast enough it will all be gone. That is how crowded and rushed it is on Shabbat. Other days aren't as rushed but still pretty rushed because Ben Yehuda Street is just a cool place even if you are only going there to hang out or if you are visiting Israel and want to see that wonderful and very crowded and cool street. Tel-Aviv is around as crowded but is a full city and is like the modern day Jerusalem which is ayng a lot bieng that Jerusalem still has a modern day area. Although i only mentioned a few cities and areas in Israel everywhere is just as cool and eceryne is just as kind as anywhere else in Israel.
My favorite place in the world is my room. My room is my favorite place because it's all mine and only mine and no one elses. Also, it can look how ever i want it to.
My favorite place in the world is the Kotel. This is my favorite because it is a place that contains the memories of my heritage. this is important because there has been many conflicts and many quarrels conserning the ownership of the property. This also is important becase is is one of the 10 wonders of the world mentioned in the torah [ 9 of which are in Israel].
My favorite place is the Kotel. This is my favorite because it is a place that has seen so many great and sad and miraculous things. I chose it because when you are there you feel the intense air of the history snd the kavanah. This is important because you need to know the great and sad things in our past.

My Favorite Place in the World Sophia Porter Geveret Bauman 6th grade
My favorite place in the world is the beach in Cayman Islands, Mexico. I love to play in the sand and be with my family. There are also beautiful fish and unique shells all over the ocean floor. I can get my hair braided into many cute little braids, and then I don’t have to worry about it getting in my face. There are also many little Native American shops that have beautiful carvings and dream catchers, and plenty of dogs and horses!!! I really love the beach!
My favorite place in the world is the pool. I love it because when I jump in I feel like all of my worries just slide right off. There is a lot of peace underwater because you cannot hear a thing. All that you can feel is icy cold water stinging your skin at first. I really love that feeling.
My favorite place is New York City because it is awesome. Also, I like the food and shops because they have cool stuff to sell. I also like it because the attractions are amazing
